In The Beginning

 

It all began on August 18th, 1984, when the newly formed band - parentheses and all - unveiled itself to an unsuspecting group of friends and family at a backyard party in East Lansing, Michigan. A combined effort of drummer, Scott Culling, and bassist, Danny St. Echo, the Reggae Summer Splash Bash had been a labor of love for 2 years in a row. A successful gathering, to say the least (the previous year's effort had seen consumption of some 24 kegs of beer and approximately a thousand ears of roast corn across 16 hours),
